Frances Smith Obituary

FRANCES KAY SMITH was born July 1,1949 in Butler, MO, the daughter of Francis and Hazel (Sexton) Smith. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 8,2012 Easter Sunday with her family at her bedside. She was blessed with two children, Sam and Tina.

Fran had many jobs over the years, but most important was her work as a CNA for 16 years. She loved her patients. Her hobbies were going to garage sales, watching scary movies and she was a Rockin Music loving grandma, no country for this girl.

Fran was a pet lover; she once had a pet monkey, pig and many raccoons as a child. Her 14 year old cat now resides with her son.

She made friends easily anywhere she went, she would help you however she could. She will be remembered as a very loving and caring person.

Fran was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Jim and Pat Smith and sister Joyce Thomas.

She is survived by her son, Sam Taylor and wife Sherrie, Raytown, MO; daughter, Tina Tabor and husband Ron, Rich Hill, MO; 2 grandchildren, Brandon Tabor and wife to be, Melissa and Jenna Tabor; 1 sister, Laile Hough and husband John, Rich Hill, MO; 1 sister-in-law, Thelma Smith, Rich Hill, MO. many nieces and nephews and 3 special friends, Wilma Ramage, Margie Heuser and Jannelle McKinley.
